New Release: Validate on Ring 0 Before Updates Reach Your Users
This release adds Ring 0 validation to Change360. You can now install an app on a Cloud PC through Intune, smoke test it, and only then let it reach your wider deployment rings. Change360 also adds support for Windows 11 26H2, introduces a clearer Deployment Health Check report, and detects PSADT-wrapped packages when you import from SCCM. The release also includes a range of fixes for Intune deployments, Cloud PCs, MSIX conversion and Pipeline History. π‘οΈ Ring 0 validation on Cloud PC Catch broken apps before your users do. Intune Deployment Templates now have an optional Ring 0 phase, which you can turn on or off for each template. When Ring 0 is on, Change360: Installs the app on your chosen Cloud PCs through an Intune security group assignment. Runs a smoke test and uses the app's detection rules to confirm it installed. Holds the next phase until the smoke test passes. If a smoke test fails, you can still choose to proceed. The override is recorded in an audit trail, and the warning tells you that it also bypasses any Ring 0 validations still running. You can follow progress in several places: The Intune Deployments dashboard shows Ring 0 status for each deployment. The Intune Templates page has a new Ring 0 column. The Modernized Dashboard shows the Ring 0 status. Change360 also notifies you when a Cloud PC fails to provision. It will not let you select a Cloud PC that is still provisioning. π» Windows 11 26H2 support Change360 now supports Windows 11 26H2. Azure Marketplace images for 26H2 are available, and Modernize environments now run on 26H2. MSIX conversion on 26H2 uses MSIX Packaging Tool 1.2024.405.0. Windows 11 23H2 remains supported until 10 November 2026, so you have time to move your environments. A quick heads-up: Microsoft will stop releasing security updates for Windows 11, version 23H2 after November 10, 2026.We recommend reviewing any environment you set up on Windows 11 23H2 and change it to a newer OS version. π A clearer Deployment Health Check report The Deployment Health Check report now gives you a clear verdict at the top. Its counts add up correctly. Rules that did not run are marked Skipped or Not applicable, and dependent rules are grouped together. This makes it quicker to see what passed, what failed and why. π¦ PSADT detection for SCCM imports Change360 now detects packages wrapped with the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) when you import them from SCCM. You can see straight away which imported apps use PSADT. The legacy SCCM import option has been removed from all editions. π§ Bug fixes and enhancements Excel downloads from reports no longer fail when the report includes a large number of packages. Adobe Creative Cloud no longer fails with exit code 71 during the Discover sequence. Applications onboarded from Patch360 and wrapped with PSADT now keep the correct uninstall command. The pre-discovered uninstall command now matches the machine-wide (system context) install instead of uninstalling per user. You can now create Intune templates that use linked Cloud PCs. Cloud PC provisioning now checks that the security group or user email still exists in Intune. The security group list in Intune Templates now refreshes after you delete a group in Intune. A new refresh button also lets you reload the list yourself. The Intune link on the Intune Deployment page now includes your Azure tenant ID, so it always opens in the right tenant, even if you work across multiple tenants. The Sequences date picker filter now has a reset button. Additional fixes.
