New release - Cleaner uninstalls, smarter detection rules and automatic recovery
This release makes your everyday work more reliable — from cleaner app uninstalls and smarter detection rules to automatic recovery after interruptions. Here's what's new. ✨ More reliable uninstall commands We've made application uninstalls far more dependable. During discovery, the correct uninstall command is now pulled directly from the source and validated. If validation succeeds, the uninstall command on the application record is updated. For applications imported from Patch360, validated uninstall commands are also fed back into the catalog. 🎯 Smarter detection rules Until now, the detection rules were saved only when you exported an app to Intune, and only file-based rules were sent across. That's changed in two ways: Detection rules are now created during discovery — ready from the start, rather than at export time. Change360 builds them from what it finds: a Windows Installer rule when the package has a product code, a file rule when an executable is discovered, and a registry rule for non-Windows Installer packages with uninstall keys. All three rule types are supported: Windows Installer, file, and registry. Where more than one applies, all of them must be met for the app to be detected as installed. You can also review, edit and add rules before exporting. Pick from the resources found during discovery or enter your own file or registry path, then choose the detection method and operator. 🛡️ Automatic recovery after interruptions Sequences no longer fail just because the Gateway or Web Host becomes unavailable. Whether it's a Web Host restart during a release, a Gateway upgrade, an unexpected Gateway restart, or the Gateway VM being powered off, sequences now continue and complete once connectivity is restored — instead of failing and making you start again. Every case is recorded in the sequence console, so it's always clear what happened. 🐛 Bug fixes Health Check PDFs now download properly. We fixed "Download as PDF" from the Questionnaire or the Agent Status. The Progress modal now opens with large selections. Selecting more than 1,000 packages on the Overview page and clicking Progress no longer shows an error screen — the modal loads and all suitable packages can be progressed. PSADT script edits are now included in downloaded packages. Changes you commit to a PSADT script now appear when you download the package.
